Evans Brothers Musical Reunion… August 15th, 2011!
NASHVILLE — It’s been an amazing year so far for Nashville recording artist and multi instrumentalist Ernie Evans. His life long dream has now grown legs and is running full speed ahead. With over 100 dates booked in his freshman year as the band leader for his own group, Evans has no time for rest. “This is a scary time to start any kind of business but it just felt right” says Evans. As a recent band member of Grammy Nominee Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike and 5 time Grammy Nominee Vassar Clements, Evans has toured internationally sharing his talent all over the world.
On Monday, August 15th, 2011 he returns to his home town Toledo, Ohio for a performance as an independent bluegrass artist, reuniting with with family, friends and fans at the well known “Glass City Opry”. Evans quotes this venue as being the perfect setting for his debut performance to his home town. The Glass City Opry and it’s management have done a great job cultivating bluegrass in that area, bringing it front and center, exposing America’s own muisc to many new faces. Touring with Evans will be Isaac Taylor on banjo, Lamont Goff on and cohost of 3 radio shows, business partner, spouse Debi Evans on bass.
